Player Privacy Policy

Last updated 8 October 2026

This policy explains how TurfMate uses information connected with your player account.

1. Information you provide

We process your name, username, email, phone number, profile photo and account ID. Date of birth and gender are optional. Sign-in providers process authentication details; Google sign-in provides the account information you authorize. Do not include passwords or unnecessary sensitive information in support requests.

2. Bookings and playing profile

We use bookings, cancellations, preferences and reviews to manage requests, calculate T-Points, show favourite sports and venues, and summarize booking reliability. Your username and submitted reviews may appear publicly. Owners can see relevant booking and customer summaries for their venues. Phone numbers are hidden in their screens and exports; this is not a guarantee that all technical access paths are restricted.

3. Location and device storage

If you allow browser location access, your coordinates are used to show nearby venues. Distances may be approximate. Location permission is optional and can be withdrawn in browser settings. Essential browser storage keeps your sign-in session, booking selections and preferences available; we do not require location permission to browse.

4. Support and service providers

Support descriptions and optional screenshots are available to you and authorized administrators. We use hosting, authentication and storage providers to operate the service, which may process information outside your region. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or to investigate fraud and protect safety.

5. Messages

We use contact details for account and booking-related communication. If WhatsApp booking messages are enabled, the player’s saved number and booking details are processed by the messaging provider. Having a phone number on file does not mean automated WhatsApp messaging is currently active.

6. Retention and protection

We keep information for account operation, booking records, disputes and applicable legal obligations, rather than promising a fixed deletion period. Access controls and private screenshot links help limit exposure, but no service can guarantee absolute security. Avoid uploading information about other people without permission.

7. Your choices

Update your personal details and photo in Personal Information and manage your password in Account. Contact us through Help & Support or Contact to request access, correction or deletion, or raise a privacy complaint. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations or unresolved disputes. Updated policies will show their revision date.
